PARTICIPATE IN DES MOINES’ GROWING CRAFT BEER CULTURE
Established in 2014, Des Moines Beer Week is an annual event that aims to celebrate the Des Moines area’s growing craft beer scene. Participating businesses create, plan and host fun & unique events during Des Moines Beer Week for the community to enjoy. The craft beer industry is impacting our local economy in a positive way by adding to the city’s culture, encouraging tourism and creating jobs. Let’s celebrate and support the breweries, bars, restaurants, local organizations & businesses that help make the Des Moines metro one of the top cities in the nation!
Daily events include activities like organized bike rides, tap takeovers, special tappings, movies, education, meeting brewers, dinners, specials and more! The week also includes the Iowa Craft Brew Festival, where around 60 Iowa breweries, along with a host of regional and national craft breweries, gather in Des Moines to offer beer samples to patrons. One of the most unique aspects to the week is the Des Moines Beer Week Collaboration Beer. For more information about the DSMBW Collaboration Beers, visit here.
Des Moines Beer Week is organized by a committee of local volunteers that work to bring this fun & exciting event to our community that in turn supports local business and promotes the industry. The committee relies on sponsorships for the expense of printing, promotions, events and more. Contact us by clicking on the button below and learn about the benefits of becoming a sponsor!
