The Mistress Brewing Company team is fanatical about producing only quality craft beer.  The process begins by purifying our local water supply and creating a water profile to match the beer styles origin and continues through recipe development using meticulous care, resulting in a truly authentic profile and flavor. With our wide variety of beer style influences and a quality controlled process, there is a Mistress brew for every discernible palate.

What’s new or upcoming for you in 2018?
Mistress Brewing Company is excited to announce the opening of our first taproom! We started out in 2016 on a 4BBL HERMS system, distributing our beer through area retailers and attending festivals and events to build awareness of our brand. Receiving a very warm welcome from our fellow Iowans, we knew the time had come to host friends at our own facility. Located at 1802 N Ankeny Blvd, Ankeny, our 20 BBL brew house features both our quality craft brew and a welcoming ambiance. The opening of the taproom is the culmination of a dream, built by two best friends and started right here in central Iowa.

What’s so awesome about the Des Moines area beer scene?
The Des Moines area beer scene is ever-changing, bringing out new flavors and ideas for beer drinkers to enjoy. Iowa has never been one to “rest on her laurels” and we’re not about to start now. Creativity and community are what the beer scene is all about and the team at Mistress Brewing is excited to be a part of it!
